The LEGO Group sets a new record with the LEGO Architecture Sagrada Família. This model is the largest LEGO building set ever released, and honors the centennial year of Antoni Gaudí’s passing.
Reflecting the scale and spirit of Gaudí’s vision, this set offers collectors a way to explore the architectural monument with 12,060 LEGO pieces. As builders assemble the Barcelona landmark, they will be following the basilica’s actual construction sequence. The model starts with the foundational Apse and Crypt, then moves through the Nativity and Passion façades, the grand naves, the Western Sacristy, and six towers. Builders will complete the landmark by assembling the Eastern Sacristy and the Glory façade.
One of the model’s most striking elements comes through the stained-glass window effect. This feature is designed to echo the way light moves through the real basilica. Collectors will also appreciate the model’s attention to detail, extraordinary complexity, and balance of scale and precision.
The Sagrada Família model joins the LEGO Architecture portfolio, reimagining iconic buildings from around the world through display-worthy models. Collectors can further enhance their building experience with the LEGO Builder app. This digital tool offers intuitive 3D instructions, progress tracking, and the ability to save builds.
The LEGO Architecture Sagrada Família building set launches Nov. 1, with preorders available at LEGO.com.
