The LEGO Group<\/a> sets a new record with the LEGO Architecture Sagrada Fam\u00edlia. This model is the largest LEGO<\/a> building set ever released, and honors the centennial year of Antoni Gaud\u00ed\u2019s passing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Reflecting the scale and spirit of Gaud\u00ed\u2019s vision, this set offers collectors a way to explore the architectural monument with 12,060 LEGO<\/a> pieces. As builders assemble the Barcelona landmark, they will be following the basilica\u2019s actual construction sequence. The model starts with the foundational Apse and Crypt, then moves through the Nativity and Passion fa\u00e7ades, the grand naves, the Western Sacristy, and six towers. Builders will complete the landmark by assembling the Eastern Sacristy and the Glory fa\u00e7ade.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One of the model\u2019s most striking elements comes through the stained-glass window effect. This feature is designed to echo the way light moves through the real basilica.
